After reading about the Beer Junction on the Washington Beer Blog I was excited to check it out. The owner dropped his gig as a CPA and decided to start a beer store. That is badass.

The store has a great selection and it’s organized by style which makes it easy to find what you’re looking for. Bottleworks organizes by country which is also cool, but I thought styles were better. And the Beer Junction has nice little flags so you can instantly tell which country your beer came from.

The owner was really nice and the beer seemed much more reasonably priced than similar offerings at various Ballard grocery stores. Is it worth the drive from Ballard to West Seattle? Yeah, but only if you’re already going that way. I do think it’s better than Bottleworks though. Just wish it wasn’t so far away.
